More Vendor Previews

One vendor we are excited about coming is Kathy Duncan from Sacred River Designs.....why are we excited?  Kathy is transitioning her business from Jewelry and going with her LOVE of Interior Design and all things beautiful! She has wonderful taste and has been collecting some gorgeous things this year and they will be showcased at the Roses and Rust Spring Market!  Make NO mistake she will have some of her gorgeous creations of handcrafted designs at the Show, but we are super excited to see her collections of home decor!





Sarah Mobley Chapman of Sadie Girl Designs from Rio Dell, CA is coming from Humboldt County to Roses and Rust April 7th!!!! Sarah, re-creates old windows into signs for our homes. She also has vintage ribbons and many other fun accessories!



We welcome Theresa Alexander from Oregon, who will be joining our Marche du' Printemps April 7th. Her business is called Something Else; she designs purses & Accessories. Her sewing machine has been buzzing for weeks as she prepares for the Show! Her products are HIGH quality and unique and one of kind designs!








Our next Preview is Mindy Warner from The Tattered Loft. Mindy's passion has always been in styling and design. 
"I love the feel of the Nordic/French style with touches of Industrial. I have lived in Redding for the last 18 years, raising 3 wonderful children with my husband.
You will find The Tattered Loft with my original and re-purposed furniture and decor at the Oregon Street Antique Mall in downtown Redding."

George and Brenda Ackley of Sweet Silver are new to the Show this year and they are from Cameron Park. They re-purpose vintage silverware and coins into housewares and jewelry. We are so pleased to have them join us!






Larry and Cheryl from Just Because Antiques in Washington are making a long trek down to join us as new vendors at the Spring Show! Larry and Cheryl always have a wonderful assortment of goodies for us to browse through. Furniture, kitchen accessories, old books, you name it. You will want to spend time here to find that special treasure!






 Laurae from Hartsong is another NEW vendor to Roses and Rust. Laurae has been an antiques dealer since 1985. Her passion is for 19th century American and Country French, which she mixes with today's collectibles. She also has a wonderful collection of linens!





Carolyn Vallelunga, originally from Ohio, now living in Chico, is a Primitive Folk Artist. Carolyn is another new vendor to the Market, and her business is Gypsy Threads. Carolyn travels up and down the Coast going to Shows with wares!!! She products are whimiscal and tell a story of things of the past! Her booth will surely be colorful and full of life!



 Natalie from R.U. Piper Designs from Sonoma is a NEW vendor and we are so excited about Natalie coming to Show at Roses & Rust. Natalie is a regular vendor at Alameda Pointe, has an Etsy Store and an Online Store as well. R U Piper Designs offers a wide variety of home decor. Her table runners and pillows are so fantastic. Lesley Papola from The Farmers Wife Barntique from Petaluma introduced us to Natalie and we couldn't be happier!!! Cant wait to see her booth and shop her creations!!!!


We are also excited to have Debra Skoniecki back with us to the Spring Show. Debra and her husband Zane and their 2 daughters live in Pomona, CA.  Debra is an avid junker and tries to hit all the yard sales! She loves to sew, she creates tabletop linens, pillows etc....and always has a great collection of painted furniture and antique collectibles! WELCOME BACK Debra!!!!



More TRUE re-purposers are The Potterdale Sisters. These sisters re-create and design some of the most beautiful yard art with old china, crystal pieces and the unique......Not only is their booth display to-die-for-cute, but their imagination is incredible! 

We are SUPER excited to have Randy and Liz Foster from Oregon, they have Antique Ceiling Tile tins......they travel up and down the coast selling at places like Alameda Point once a month. They have a wonderful array of shelves, mirrors, chalkboards and the unique! 
Be sure to visit their booth upstairs at the Civic Auditorium.


Ginger Carter Mallard from La Beau Papion will be one of our jewelry vendors at the Market! Ginger does a WONDERFUL job of re-purposing & re-creating for her line of jewelry! Her talents are many when it comes to creating jewelry...... soldering, enameling....you name it, she does it! And her talents do not stop as a jewelry artist; she also is an AMAZING seamstress and re-creates old luggage into beautiful jewelry displays!!!! 



 Bonnie Cuneo from In a Jam will be returning to our Market, and let us tell you.....Bonnie has an incredible talent of creating AMAZING JAMS. All of her Pepper Jellies are so full of flavor and robust! A favorite of many people is Jalapeno Apricot, and her Ginger Jam is wonderful on chicken and fish! Bonnie's talents do not stop at jam making.  She is also a wonderful seamstress!!!!! Bonnie will be sampling ALL DAY so be sure to stop and try the fruits of her labor!!!






Kara Klohe Stewart from Kara Stewart Photography will be returning to the Roses & Rust Vintage Market as our Show Photographer.  Kara is one of the main photographers for Enjoy Magazine, and is extremely well known in the Community. Kara will be capturing the Market and will have a photo booth as well, so be sure to stop by and say HELLO and get your picture done by a truly amazing photographer!!!!! 




Alphabet Soup Photography was a customer favorite at the Fall Show. And they will be returning to our Spring Market!!!  One thing we love about their booth is you can buy individual letters and create your own pieces; for your child's room, a names sake...etc!  We are excited to welcome them back.




Another wonderful vendor joining us at the Marche' du Printemps is Connie Barton of Happily Ever After Cottage Accessories. Connie even travels to Europe to stock her Maggie Mae's Girly Girl Collection.
Look for her latest Texas "finds" in her booth.



Laurel Sparrow of Sparrow Fine Antiques in Red Bluff is another NEW vendor to the Market. Laurel has a wide variety of rich American History Art and Furniture. Her Storefront is nestled in Downtown Red Bluff since 1997. Quoted from Laurel, " Our art theme is dedicated to historic California, and includes original paintings of cowboy life, landscapes, wildlife paintings, and other works by artists who are nationally acclaimed." Be sure to stop by and welcome Laurel and check out her booth.




Gilbert Country Antiques from Fairfield, California is another new vendor to Roses and Rust. Michelle and her Mother in-law, Shawn have recently started their business together.
"We have many re-purposed items and rare finds. Our passion is for French Antiques. We recently flew to Newport Beach and attended a private container opening.  We were able to purchase French, Austrian, and German, Antiques just in from over seas and had first pick of some absolutely Fabulous stuff! Our prices are so affordable because we go to container openings and work straight with the dealers that just purchased from France or some of these other Countries".

Jody and Rob Smith of The Smith Hotel have been with us from the very beginning and we are pleased to announce they are going to be part of our Marche' du Printemps.  Rob and Jody have a lot of exciting additions to The Smith Hotel; they are now dealers of CeCe Caldwell Paints.   Jody has opened a new online Shop called The Smith Hotel Boutique. Plus they have a HUGE booth at Oregon Street Antique Mall. The Smith Hotel has lots of goodies to shop from; from bits to baubles to beautifully refinished furniture that Mr Smith creates!!! They always put together an incredible booth, so be sure to stop by and say HELLO!!!!!!
 







We are so happy to have Becky Shaughnessy  from Resurrected Metal back with Roses & Rust! Becky's booth is always a Show favorite! And you are going to LOVE her new booth layout her hubby made for her....it displays her product so well, and its very shabby chic! We adore re-purposing and re-creating old into new; Becky's product is a classical example of that!






Erica Wright from PB&J Boutique will also be returning to Roses & Rust for our Spring Market. Erica's shop in Chico is a vintage inspired boutique that carries women's clothing, shoes and accessories. Erica also carries beautiful lines of jewelry, decor and incredible shoes! Erica, with husband and Mom run the family business together. (Erica has a booth with a dressing room, so you can try on her vintage wares!!!)







Ashley Lynn Boon from The Gypsy Crow will be returning to our Spring Show. Ashley has the most talented eye for design, and always puts together an incredible booth! One thing we are excited to see is Ashley's new collection of vintage slips in a beautiful array of colors!!!!! Ashley has a booth upstairs at Eighth Main Chico-Antiques in Chico, and she also has another business; Simply Ashley, that is simply gorgeous jewelry!!!


Roses and Rust loves the Berry Babes Farm Goods; their booth is always so whimsical and colorful! Not only do they travel around and do Shows but they have a Storefront in Willows, CA. They have a wonderful selection of re-purposed items and local goods made in Willows.

Linda and George Graf have also been favorite vendors who have participated in Roses & Rust from the beginning.  Linda loves to showcase her wonderful vintage home decor and kitchen-ware right along side George's Automobile Service Station Collectibles.  It is always a creative and fabulous display.

  1. I was hoping to get information on one of the vendors from the show at the Redding Convention Center. The very first vendor that you saw when you first walked in to the convention center after paying. The lady said she was from Sacramento and she had these small tin cut out letters that she was selling... we hadn't picked out our baby's name yet so I got her business card to order from her and then it got washed in the washer. :( If you have any information, please let me know. missvanea@hotmail.com
