Come to the Early Buy and Contribute to the Community!

For each Early Buy ticket purchased, Roses & Rust will contribute a dollar to the Shasta Women's Refuge, a Non-Profit Organization which provides confidential services to victims of  domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking at no cost.

Why an Early Buy?  Each time we have presented our Market we have many requests from people to have an opportunity to come early and have a chance to buy before the show begins.
So, for this Marché d' Automne we have organized an official time between 8-10 A.M. on October 13, for those who want to pay a higher rate and fulfill their wishes.

As another benefit for this special ticket which is $15, we are giving a "$4-off-lunch" coupon to be used at either of our two fabulous lunch vendors on location at the Redding Civic Auditorium.

Announcing an Early Buy for our 

             Marché d' Automne

     October 13, 2012 from 8-10 a.m.

Entrance fee will be $15 for the first 2 hours, 
for those who want to see and buy 
the 'cream of the crop' that our talented vendors offer at the Redding Civic Auditorium.

After 10 a.m. the entry fee is $6.  

Children under 16 are free after 10 a.m.

Humboldt Barnwood Designs

 How It Started

In 2010 I began looking for a way to incorporate my love of Humboldt County with my other interests. I was born and raised here, and have always had a strong interest in birding, gardening, building, exploring the local countryside, and digging and collecting antique bottles.

This led to my first Barnwood bird feeder which I made entirely from local recycled materials. The tin roof comes from an old warehouse on Eureka's waterfront and the old growth redwood comes from local barns and Victorian houses dating back to before the turn of the century. The barbed wire came from an old fence that at one time surrounded our property in Arcata. Even the vintage square nails I use for perches on my feeders and birdhouses are local, salvaged from 19th century barnwood.

My farm benches, potting tables and cottage cabinets came next. They also utilize local recycled old growth redwood and other vintage materials.

The Gathering has begun!

October 13th will be here before you know it, which means the hunt for treasures is on! We have had such wonderful inspiration from our vendors who have re-purposed, up-cycled, or even just cleaned up old pieces and made them new. We look forward to our October 13th Market and what inspiration it will bring! We would love feedback from anyone who has been to Roses & Rust  and wants to share what inspired them.
